Projects span a time frame, and include both services & materials; Projects are cost and capacity intensive, Projects are planned, executed and monitored. Reckoner Projects handles both project executions for external clients as well as organization’s internal projects. Also, standard projects can be created with the other relevant data for analysis and aid in project estimation. Projects are tasks with special characteristics such as:

• They are generally complex, unique and involve a high degree of risk
• They have precise goals agreed on by the customer and organization
• They are limited in duration and are cost and capacity intensive
• They are subject to certain quality requirements
• The designs for the project are prepared as part of the project planning.

Reckoner Projects handles both project executions for external clients as well as organization’s internal projects. Also, standard projects can be created with the other relevant data for analysis and aid in project estimation. Although, there is no specific need for definition of project at the time of esti mation, but it becomes useful for later stages, if a project is defined at that stage itself. The relevant WBS (Work breakdown structure) and BOQ (Bill of Quantity) can be copied from the standard project definitions, whenever needed.

1. Web based system to integrate all remote sites.

   Reckoner’s web based module provides seamless integration between the HO and project sites. It provides for indent, PO and MRNs by automatic creation of reference numbers for these documents.

2. Overheads and resource cost allocation

   Cost are allocated to overheads and resources with the help of BOQ(Bill Of Quantity), to provide for accurate estimation and costing.

3. Very Comprehensive tender and estimate module

   To make an accurate project estimate, there are several variables to be taken into account, including material, resources, transportation, machinery etc. Reckoner's tendering and estimation module provides a user friendly and comprehensive calculation logic to assist you in this activity.

4. Project and activity confirmation.

   Reckoner provides for activity scheduling and confirmation. Confirmation automatically issues material based on BOQ and provides an online stock position at each site warehouse.

5. Automatic and manual material issue

   For construction material can be issued both manually and automatically. For manual issue users enter the details through material issue entry. Various definable types of material issue documents like consumption, for loan, for return, for stock transfer and for sub-contract makes document entry easy for the user as well as eliminates chances of errors. User can issue material automatically through auto issue generation at activity confirmation.
